The BMW M Performance Power and Sound Kit delivers an excellent power boost (265 kW) to the standard engine in the 340i/440i. The new, upgraded engine update, coupled with the perfectly tuned silencer with flap system make the 340i/440i an uncompromising sporting experience for all the senses. Improved acceleration, impressive torque and a faster response are the improvements that drivers will feel immediately after installation. The acceleration values (from 0 to 100 km/h) are improved by 0.2 seconds. Inspirational driving performance, sporty dynamic tuning. The silencer with flap system means performance can be boosted to 265 kW/500 Nm. This boost is awe-inspiring and delivers exceptional performance. The excellent traction, even at high speeds, also allows powerful acceleration and creates a sporty and extremely agile driving experience. Maximum 265 kW at 5500 rpm. Cars with manual transmission can only achieve a torque of 480 Nm as various components have to be protected. Comparable consumption despite higher performance: The fuel consumption and emissions levels in the ECE driving cycle correspond to those of the standard engine, despite the significantly greater performance. The sport display in the iDrive monitor is adapted to higher performance and the higher torque. The Power and Sound Kit ensures a matching engine and exhaust system sound, intensifying the BMW’s sporty sound characteristics. The Drive Experience button allows the selection of multiple modes, which influence the exhaust system’s performance.
